Ah, I know what I like, and what I like is Circles tests. Lots of good ones here! Brent successfully made a Circles to find his old master, who will appear when and where I wish (mwahahaha) and Kaitlin was able to find some cheap weapons for the Green Men and their flush of new recruits. Other than that, the events were somewhat mundane... still, for a slow session, it was tons of fun. I'm really looking forward to the next one, though.
Well, we have a couple of things to talk about betwixt games. Now, I know Brent is chomping at the bit to burn up some more minor characters, from Jarl the King's Justice to his old master Joseph the Green to Lord Winchester the estate manager, and more! And, we'll have lots of lively discussions about their BITs, I'm sure.
There were some other things that we mentioned we'd have to talk about on here that I just don't recall. I ought to have written them down whenever it was mentioned, but my mind was elsewhere. Anyway, anything else anyone wants to bring up that I forgot, awesome!

I still don't recall what else we were going to discuss, I just thought I'd post some ideas for Jarl's beliefs. He'll probably get his own post, so I know I'm jumping the gun a little, but they were in my brain. So:
I will send those who have been judged by man forward to be judged by God.
No crime is too small to go unpunished. (this one probably needs to be modified)
And some ideas for instincts:
Always try to kill with a single stroke
Always keep my axe keen and honed
Always look for the guilt in their eyes
Man, I keep tryin' to remember, but I don't. It was something mechanical; something about Circles? Resources? OH! Now I remember! It was about treating the Green Men as an advancable stat that can be taxed. Honestly, I still hadn't wrapped my brain around that one. Brent, what were you envisioning for that?
I'm not really sure what I was thinking, it just seemed to fit mechanically at the time.
Uh... I still feel like there's one last thing I'm forgetting... there was something where you were like, "Let me ask Luke Crane on the BW forums." Was it about Astrology? I really would like to have a better idea of how that skill works.
I also want to burn up that daemon sometime. I'm not sure what that entails, though. Do you burn it up just like any other monster, or is there some stuff you can skip since it's just possessing Roger the Pike?
Astrology test info here.
Here's my initial offering for Joseph.
He makes use of the Hedge Wizard lifepath from the BW wiki.
Stat blocks for:
Lord Winchester
Jarl, The King's Justice
I based the "executioner" lifepath on the torturer from the noble court sub-setting. The biggest difference is that it's required skill is "execution", used to behead in fewer blows (and also a badass FoRK for Axe or Sword) and it's required trait is "King's Justice," a die trait that gives a +1D affiliation with the Court.
re: Pike's Daemon, you may be able to get away with just picking BITs. I'll have to review the literature to be certain.
